Glover Park's Annual Holiday Party
Some things just keep getting better and better.  I like traditions with new twists.  Consequently, our annual holiday party has a new time and theme:  Tea with Santa.

Mark your calendars, for Glover Park's Annual Holiday Party – December 8, 2007 from 3 until 5 PM at Guy Mason Rec Center.

This event, sponsored by the Glover Park Citizens Association and Friends of Glover Park, is always a great way to visit with the neighbors that we don't get to see during the cold, winter months.  Please bring a tea time snack to share (tiny sandwiches, cookies, nuts, cheese and crackers, etc) and a toy to donate to Toys for Tots.  Toys should be new and worth at least $10.

Santa Claus has promised to stop by for a visit and photos with your children -- as he does every year.  If you like, you may bring a small toy that you can give unobtrusively to Santa for him to pass on to your child.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to come.  Door prizes from local merchants will be given to the oldest attendee, the youngest attendee, the person who has lived in Glover Park the longest and folks holding the winning ticket.

Don't even think about visiting a suburban mall, waiting in line to see a Santa who probably doesn't even have a real beard and paying inflated prices for a photo with the man.  Stay in GP and have your holiday cheer right here at home.  You'll be glad you did.
